How we compare AI blog tools
Every cell on an ACME.BOT comparison is one fact read off the vendor's own pages and kept current. Tools are ordered by the features a page weighs, then by price per article, and none is placed by hand, ours included.
What does each cell mean?
| the cell says | meaning |
|---|---|
| $79 a month, Yes | The fact, as the vendor states it. |
| Partial | They sell it with a limit. |
| No | They don't sell it: they say so, or none of their product pages, docs or user reviews mention it. |
| Not listed | Their pages don't state it, as with an article count for a tool priced in credits. |
| Not verified | We haven't confirmed it yet. Read it as unknown, never as No. |
Where does each fact come from?
- The vendor's own pricing, features, docs, help, terms and signup pages, quoted word for word.
- What buyers say in public reviews and threads, each linked to where it was posted.
- What we measured by running the tool ourselves, where we have.
How are the tools ordered?
On an alternatives page, the features are the ones the tool you're leaving sells up front on its own pages, and what its headline sells counts double, so the tool that replaces most of what you bought comes first. A list of the best tools sorts by the features its question is about. A Yes counts one and a Partial half. Tools on the same count go by price per article, cheapest first; a tool that doesn't publish one goes after those that do. Nobody moves a tool by hand, ours included.
- Outrank alternatives, after the tool being replaced: Backlink exchange (counts double), Full articles (counts double), Data-driven topics, Publish approval, Fact-checking, Keyword volumes, Auto-publishes, Scheduling, Images, Refreshes old posts, Brand voice, Multi-site.
- Best automated blogging tools: Interviews you, Uses your docs, Brand voice, Plan approval, Publish approval.
How fresh is the data?
A page goes live only when every fact on it is under 45 days old and these rows are filled for every tool, ours included:
- Lowest price
- Billing unit
- Trial
- Features
- Output ownership
- Cancel anytime
